this poster is so misleading it genuinely enrages me - the nerve to make this gritty, depressing portrayal of immigrant suffering in London look like some sexy romance is insane also very split on whether this is 3.5 or 4 stars i could really go either way

The fact there's a little red riding hood adaptation done by Interview with the Vampire director Neil Jordan, called "The Company of Wolves", reframed to discuss sex and sexual violence experienced by young women is literally the coolest thing ever This film is confusing, disjointed and more thematically/visually interesting than it is narratively cohesive; fortunately im a massive neek and I took so much enjoyment in decoding the bizarre symbolism, taking in the gorgeous surreal imagery and harrowing practical effects. It was so far up my alley that even the numerous imperfections (really not a fan of it all being a fucking dream) could not detract from my fascination with it. One the films I've watched that probably doesn't get 5 stars of shear quality but just from how much I love it.

I know wes anderson is fucking seething everytime he remembers he didnt make this

unironically got more excited for travis scott showing up again than odysseus making it home
