Roma
While watching the film, I found myself wandering a bit. I wasn't fully engaged with the characters despite having empathy for their situations.
One thing was certain, though, Roma gave meaning to the notion of “motion picture.” Every frame was first an image, still and artful. The film's cinematography felt like reminiscing a memory rather than watching a film. It was as if I was looking at an old scrapbook with black and white photos and the memories I never experienced were urging them to move.
