To make art is a right, to view art is a right. But to make art that is to be viewed, is a privilege that does not forego responsibility. I maybe slightly hyperfixate on media ethics.

Rest in peace Sam Neil.

I didn’t know Steven Soderbergh had it in him. What I had initially expected to be pro or anti communist propaganda, turned out to be an amazing concept film that lends itself amazingly to the convoluted struggles of the Cuban revolution. Benicio Del Toro as Guevara was perfect, having apparently been a big fan of the historical icon himself. If Marxism is unfamiliar to you I probably wouldn’t recommend it but I thought this was brilliant.

What the fuck was going on? (In a bad way)
Horrifying in exactly the way a film should be. I think I’m going to need to rewatch this about four times before I can form a coherent opinion on it.
