a moment full of tonal inconsistency and last words that knifed a so called romantic celebrity feud. charli is forever my girl and with the moment, she and aidan deliver an entertaining spectacle of the biggest yet most oversaturated zeitgeist of 2024.  look yall, i found this film genuinely hilarious and concurrently facetious but at the same time… it sort of fell a bit flat??? i think charli had an abundance of good ideas for the film and got a little too excited which lead to the film feeling all over the place. that said there’s an argument to make that maybe that was the point? she’s messy, brat is messy, so why not make the film messy?  idk,, kinda annoyed just bc it had the potential to be in my top four, if only it shed its multi genre venture and narrowed its scope to one or two genres instead of sticking its fingers in multiple pies, u get me?
