not much to say that hasn’t already been said. it’s introspective, emotional, funny and playful, and it only gets better as it goes. fellini blends the line between reality and dreams so naturally, it feels like you’re inside his mind, drifting between thoughts and memories. it’s such an unconventional approach to filmmaking, the whole thing feels more like a journey than a story. one of the most creative films i’ve seen, and one of fellini’s best, if not his best
