Pride

*I love being queer. I love supporting unions. I love solidarity and truly believe in its ability to pull us from the darkness that was used to oppress and devalue us. * I know the struggles I face in all my intersectional identities and only want to learn more about the experiences of others in hopes to make our lives better. Change comes from the acts of community, we forget the power we have and I will not be one to sit at the wayside and watch it fade away.  I stayed up way too late finishing this one but it’s okay; me potentially falling asleep at my work desk tomorrow will have been worth it for a wonderful Andrew Scott performance, a beautiful representation of a fat woman, and a hopeful feeling left in my gut.
