Vertigo

Super good movie!  For a second I thought maybe this was going to be a noir without a crime. It really took me for a spin with quite the plot twist. I figured it wouldn’t be like a ghost story but dang. The editing was super good and with the color. It definitely couldn’t do the things it wanted to in black and white like the dream sequence.  I was surprised how cool everyone was for there to be an affair and not care about it. I guess it had to do with the plan, but still I wish someone would address that Madelyn was married. I also wish that they explained why the husband put everything together.  I loved seeing Jimmy Stewart go crazy, which is weird to write, but he did a great job and it hurt to watch him replicate Madeline and Judy and the dramatic tension there was good. And the second tower scene was just a lot of emotion. Don’t know how I felt about the outcome of it though. Maybe if the nun was planted a bit better it wouldn’t feel cheap. Overall still a super good movie though
