Loki
what just happened
would not recommend watching the entire show in one sitting.
edit: okay i've had a little over 12 hours to process this. i will never be getting over the opening credits of episode 6. nothing will ever beat the first 4 episodes of wandavision for me, but loki came pretty close. none of the episodes were slow or a disappointment (looking at you, wandavision finale). this series left me completely drained emotionally. it was stunning. the cinematography was creative and probably my favorite for the mcu. ive been listening to the soundtrack on repeat.
(minor spoilers past here)
loki's character arc is one of my favorites of all time. we see him begin as an unwavering, apathetic want to be king driven by envy, and we see him grow to love his brother and die trying to save him. now, this series begins immediately after new york. meaning his character arc hasn't even happened yet. yet we see him in a matter of days (or however long it was, i guess time is different in the tva) break down his walls and open himself up to a relationship for not one, but two people. that alone is huge. so seeing how the series unfolds and seeing the finale absolutely broke me. this was a brilliant show.
