I don't know where to begin it's been said a thousand times before bit this movie is nothing short of a masterpiece it covers all of the emotional spectrum seriously and shall I start with the cinematography and what cinematography it is the movie easily portrays class differences and class discrimination through the position of the camera and the coloring of the scenes my favorite is the kims draining with the rain from the mansion of the Parks until they reach their sewage exposed nearly destroyed semi-basement house and the performances were nothing short of amazing especially from Song Kang Ho he was spectacular in the role of Mr.Kim and then the ironies in the movie like how Mr.Kim ended in the basement like the husband another great thing is the symbolisms especially the rock that Min gave to Ki-Woo to symbolize wealth and he was so obsessed with wealth that the husband had to beat him to near death for him to abandon it it's a movie that deserves nothing than 10/10 in all seriousness

I don't know where to start when talking about this movie ok start with the score this is a masterclass in audible tension you hear the score it's inevitable it's imminent like a bomb dropping on a town it only make the already stressing scenes even more stressing then you have the cinematography and what cinematography it is this movie is candy for the eye it's really undescribable especially the fire at the Sunday drilling site scene it was a masterclass especially the wide shoot it's my favorite in the movie then there is the performances I can't say less than Paul Dano and Daniel Day-Lewis at their absolute finest and I don't think it's a hot take that it's one of the best performances of all time you can feel the bitterness in every word Plainview says you can feel his hatred you can feel how petty he is it's really just immaculate and then you have the little details you see him literally getting weaker by the minutes he consumes more land and gets more money you see him limping and violently too fueling his already existing pain and getting lonelier you see he has capability of intimacy when he considers someone his equal like his short moments of vunerablity with "Henry" this movie is a masterpiece on all sides of the puzzle nothing less nothing more 10/10
