never trust ur dad on anything (he told me this movie was overrated) makes me wonder if oppenheimer is as bad as he says

i got angry, i cried, it moved me bob! no seriously i kinda hated this movie. like it had a couple of really good and heartfelt moments and really good actors (rachel mcadams was so fine i wish she was the lesbian sister), but HOLY I HATED THE LEADING LADY. tbh i didn’t watch the first half bc i was busy baking cookies with my mom, but i did start watching at the homophobic dinner table scene and it annoys me to no end that she never apologized for all the shit she said. she was an asshole every time i saw her and the fact that mcadams and diane keaton had to apologize to her was insane (tbf i didn’t see how mcadams hurt her so maybe she did warrant an apology). but idk she was insufferable and i didn’t care for any of the romances except for the mom and dad. however the scenes with keaton and her children were extremely emotional and when she told everett about her illness i almost cried in front of my mom. it’s made even sadder by the passing of keaton herself. she truly was a legendary actress. overall idk how to feel 🤷♀️

genuinely so surprised jeremiah didn’t die. i swear as soon as mike calls him jeremy that man is dead
