Safe to say Jessie Buckley SECURED that Oscar. This movie is so beautiful and I love the way it portrays grief. These performances were crazy good and the children have such a bright future. Those children were insane. Cinematography was great. I loved the natural tone if that makes any sense. Yall don’t know how hard it was to lock in while watching this with my family. I wanted to cry. It’s so disheartening and so sweet. Side rant but hamlet is such an amazing play LMAO the theatre kid in me was ballistic cause I’ve done some of these like the “get thee to a nunnery” monologue and act 1 scene 1 where they see the ghost. That shot of that dude playing hamlet on stage and everyone reaching out. Holy moly. It’s genuinely so powerful.
