Superman
Genuinely a perfect film. This is the perfect embodiment of who Superman is and what he should be. One of the best comic book movies of all time 100%. The movie had so many amazing messages with fantastic moments and scenes from everyone. I love how it showed that Superman is Infact superMAN. He has very complex emotions and you see that very well. Lex Luthor was an actual HATERRR and I love it. He was definitely my favorite character. The pure hatred this guy has for Superman was so entertaining to watch. All of the funny moments in the movie landed very well and was packed with many great action scenes. Another thing I love about this movie is how it dives into “woke” territory. Superman being an alien and an immigrant was very empowering, and to see him do his monologue about how’s he human like everyone else was beautiful and very strong. This movie came out at the perfect time because everything that’s happening in the world. It shows themes of why journalism is important at this day and age, how we’re all human, and that war is created. It was basically an immigrant going up against a multi billionaire and it was perfect. Superman truly is the symbol of hope and this film shows that PERFECTLY. His relationship with Lois felt so real. Tears were shed while watching LMAO. James Gunn has once again made another banger #GUNNNOTJAMMED
