Zootopia 2
Why was no one gonna tell me that this is a genuine masterpiece? Like there’s literally nothing wrong with it. First of all, this plot is insanely good. These figures of high “authority” are truly corrupt (obviously) and the way the movie portrays that is insanely creative and very fun. It’s definitely political and with great messaging that teaches children and I believe these are the type of movies we need rn. Especially rn. This is genuinely Oscar worthy and I hope it wins SOMETHING. The animation is so beautiful, which is obviously the bare minimum cause it’s Infact an animated movie incase you didn’t realize but it’s literally eye candy. Judy and Nick gotta kiss yo LMAO there’s so much tension and I love them so much so you best BELIEVE when the carrot fell my heart break. Genuinely cried when they had that conversation after they “defeated” the twist villain. Random but I lowkey predicted the twist villain but it’s still such a good twist. That character had good reasoning (in terms of writing) and was a genuine threat. This WHOLE movie had amazing writing. It’s the little things that get me, like how at the end in the interview Judy lets Nick talk first because in the BEGINNING in that therapy session, the little animal brings up how Judy speaks for Nick. These little references are awesome too and I picked up on a lot of them. Insanely fun movie with great messaging. You can tell this wasn’t a simple cash grab which is what I was fearing. I think I SLIGHTLY prefer the first but mainly cause I grew up with it. This is how you make a sequel.
