37/he/him/🏳️🌈 ■ 👋 I just want to find people that love The Net as much as I do.

I feel like I’m going to come back and change my rating at some point. But for now, all this felt like to me was what happens when you take an interesting concept and try to make it marketable to as wide of an audience as possible. If you aren’t speaking to a specific set of people, you lose basically all cohesiveness which damns a movie like this that is already abstract at its core. Some meaningfully terrifying moments around a bunch of shit that honestly made absolutely no sense and I found myself bored more than anything during. This is what people who didn’t like Skinamarink must have felt like.

I don’t even know how to rate this. It was definitely a movie, that’s for sure.

One of the many gems I bought blind from a Blockbuster bargain bin a million years ago. Is it brilliant? No. But it’s a comfort watch and I actually really enjoy revisiting it every so often. Vanessa Ferlito could probably get me to switch teams, tbh.

That was super fun. Great sequel. Loved how it interweaves itself with past events.
