Obsession
The line “just because you chose this for for her doesn’t make it less real” really pulled me toward this movie when I saw the teaser trailer and seeing the trailers I knew I had to see this.
and my gosh is this an amazing horror movie the slow build up to Nikki going wild is insane and the little glimpses of the real nikki is horrifying, Inde Navarrete does an amazing job. Bear played by Michael Johnston is also amazing because you at first feel bad for him because obviously how would he have known that his wish would’ve worked but as the movie goes on you start to see he is the true “villian” of the movie.
Supporting cast is also great i really loved Ian he was pretty funny and the little moments with sarah and Bear were cute before yk. the score in this movie is genuienly beautiful its calming but also has a little bit of darkness and uneasiness to it.
The cinematography is so good i love the close up shots of the one wish willow and hiding freaky Nikkii behind darkness to the point where you can only see a smile is really effective. Amazing movie and i cant wait to see more from Curry Barker as a director
