Mentally scarring stuff. The plot seemed confusing at first but theore I thought about it the more it made sense. Dani, who just lost her family, and Christian had a very toxic relationship, and throughout the festival, Dani slowly gets pulled into this cult, which she ends up seeing as her new family to replace the one she lost. She ultimately decides to join them and kill Christian in order to cope with her grief.
