I didn’t read the book but there’s nothing to criticize. It’s funny, charming, heartwarming, thrilling and it visually looks fantastic. Exactly why you go to the movies.

This movie is insane. Sam Rockwell is great in it, but the commentary is hamfisted and it’s at times overly camp. I did laugh quite a bit though.

I didn’t have cable growing up so I never saw any of these Disney Chanel originals. I watched it cause Ryan coogler said it was the inspiration for sinners and I needed something to have on while my kid was sick. Enjoyable movie? Lot of stereotypes? See the connection to sinners? Yes, oh yes, kinda yes.
