"Guy Fieri Office of Lesbian Animal Medicine"

I laughed at times, but this is like a new strain of mid we've never seen before

I think this really had the makings of something spectacular, But we have to remember that Spielberg is 79 years old. In fact, an old man turned to me after the showing and said "Hey, you know he [Spielberg] really believes in it? He really believes in this stuff," to which my first thought was, *so?* If "*Disclosure Day"* actually happened today, first of all, no amount of media reassuring using fictional 'AI detection software' could make anyone believe it were real, let alone give a shit (I see aliens on ig reels every day). Furthermore, this wouldn't even be a top 10 most horrifying story of the *day*. No, what Spielberg missed is that the aliens aren't *out there*, they're *in here*! We've built them! We've developed some of the most inhumane systems of control, that have allowed humans to act as the horrifying robotic humanoids we claim to be so afraid of! Despite that, I do believe there are great elements worth saving. Our connection to God. Our connection with nature and to each other. Emily Blunt's acting. But I think a lot of it falls flat, and it's out of reach of being a profound text that really says something.
