Afro Samurai

ancient japan with modern weapons and futuristic robots. his conscious following him and being a good crack is such a cool way of showing us what he’s thinking while everyone around afro thinks he’s a cool cucumber, most of the time anyway. the tension between them is funny too. some of the best action sequences i’ve ever seen only being beaten by its sequel, RZA soundtrack makes it that much better too.
