One thing i dont understand about some of Wong Kar Wai's movies is how he jumps between characters or sometimes completely abandons them. those red socks are cool asf Faye's love is so strong and powerful it gives her the courage to break into his apt, hide in it, clean it, replace his old things with new ones, you can see the excitement in her face. but when faced with the reality and not her fantasy she runs away. the honesty and sincerity of the officer breaks my heart to see him in pain. and yet. to live is to suffer. to love is to suffer. to love you must accept that there is the possibility that you will be hurt or betrayed.
