The Notebook

i think this is the first movie ive given a 5 stars to so far! ive been putting off watching this for soo long because im not super big into romance movies, but this one was soo good. i wasn’t bored for one second during it. i love how the movie was told as a story their older selves were telling each other, the dialogue throughout the whole movie was amazing and I didn’t feel like any of the scenes were unnecessary, everything added to the movie. i feel like this movie really taught me something and my standards will definitely be higher after this, it’s reassuring to know that it’s never  too late to do what you really want to. i really enjoyed the time this movie took place in, and the ending just felt so fitting for this movie. them growing old together and allie not remembering anything made me so sad. but in the weirdest way them dying together was the cherry on top i feel like it was such an amazing way to end off this story, i loved the 365 letters, her painting and them living in the house he renovated. pls don’t put this off like i did super worth the watch and the tears 😊😊
