Midsommar
I liked it, I really liked it... I can't even say why... Well, alright, I liked that the emotionally manipulative jock was used for breeding (with a teenager, no less!!!) and then killed... it's lowkey giving karma.
After watching it, I was left with so many thoughts about how cults function, how communities operated in ancient times, and a bunch of other questions. Even personal ones, like maybe the main character found peace because she completely got rid of the emotional "baggage" from her past life.
But overall, it was shot really well. I liked that, it's really cool and aesthetic that all the horror comes from psychological moments and not jump scares.
