I had to leave the theatres it made me so uncomfortable. Not objectively bad, it had amazing cinematography and it did what it meant to but I disliked it

Spoilers! I am a massive Mandalorian fan and it's my favorite star wars property and I have pretty basic knowledge about the rest of star wars. There was things I liked and things I didn't like. Overall it was a visually stunning movie but there was no plot. Things I liked: The cinematography and action scenes were gorgeous. I loved how the movie looked, and the action was done so well (even tho mando feels a bit impervious sometimes.) The scene showcasing the white snake was so well done and it looked spectacular. The shots of the city were also done well. I thought I'd hate that they removed his helmet again but it didn't feel forced and added tension to the scene without regurgitating the creed plotline again. The score was incredible. Fantastic even I thought I'd hate the humor — especially that one scene in the trailor where Grogu is in the cockpit — but it didn't feel as out of place in the actual movie. It was still mediocre tho, just not awful. Things I disliked: Nothing happened. They even brough back his old ship. If they were to make a season 4, watching this movie wouldn't even be needed because the characters don't change at all. They have no story arcs or lessons they learn or personality changes. Nothing. The slug. Rotta. With that, the voice acting for The slug is awful. It's just Jeremy Allan White. Some of Pedro's voice acting was mid too 💔 It's Disney so they of course pushed the Grogu cute agenda a bit much. There's not a single other Mandalorian?? Despite season 3 (and 2 kinda) being entirely about the others? I guess distancing him from the large scale politics was needed, but not a single one showing up was a bit jarring. They weren't even mentioned. It felt a bit weird to me he was working with the New Republic, maybe I missed something but it felt like they just wanted an excuse for him to interact with popular characters. Cameo cameo cameo. I don't know these characters, they're not introduced at all and you're just expected to know them.
