Iron Man
Pros:
-Robert Downey Jr. is possibly the best comic-to-screen casting ever
-The acting in general was great
-The effects look great to this day
-Most of the characters are fun and likable
-A bold risk that paid off exponentially
-One of the few “pre-MCU surge” comic book movies that wasn’t ashamed to be based off a comic book
-Avoids the typical origin story problem: once the origin is done, the movie is almost over and you don’t get a lot of time with the title character suiting up
-a lot of “hell yeah” moments
-Phil Coulson
-Samuel L. Jackson
•THE best comic-to-screen casting
Cons:
-The villain sucked major donkey doo doo
•No shame to Jeff Bridges
•This started a cliche that the MCU still faces to this day
Overall Iron Man:
Is pretty awesome sauce for a first entry in a franchise
