Not my normal type of movie. Had zero clue what they were talking about half the time, yet I still found myself enjoying it. Focusing on the fundamental aspects of the film rather than the context. I enjoyed the editing choices, every image and cut seemed to serve a purpose. Even if that purpose was jingling metaphorical keys in front of my face to make sure I'm still watching. Side note. This version of Ryan Gosling will haunt me in my nightmares. Why is he so scary looking. WHY DOES HE KEEP TALKING TO ME! LOOK AWAY!!
