Monster
So who’s the real monster?
I just adored everything about this. The three point of views narrative, Yori and how he deals with his father’s abuse, the innocence of Hori and of course my poor boy Minato
This film explores so many tough subjects without falling into some sort of misery porn and that’s what I love the most about Kore-eda, all his films deal with such heavy subjects but almost in an intimate manner, avoiding the easy way of pure shock value
Yori and Minato went through so much but in the end they still had each other and found their happiness together
