David Lynch really liked this film and after watching it I can see how this film could have had a huge impact on Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks. Also it's always crazy for me to watch old films set in the uk and see how much has changed with inflation, an escort charging £2.50 for her services? That sounds crazy, that's about the price of a 2 litre bottle of Coca-Cola nowadays!
