**76** I watched this in preparation for Project Hail Mary and if I have to say if Project Hail Mary is anything like this I will love it. The Martian was such an amazing movie with killer performances from literally everyone involved. They blended the 3 story lines perfectly together, On Earth, Mars, and the crew in space. The Mars storyline was *obviously* the highlight. Matt Damon is amazing. He can be lighthearted, or dark. I especially loved the scene where he undresses and you see how emaciated he’s become. It looked exceptionally realistic. The scenery and sound design on Mars was spectacular, as well as all the crafts and buildings. The Earth storyline was amazing aswell. Everyone working together to desperately get Mark back.  I havent read the book but from how good this movie was I think i’d love it. Thank you for reading.
