Funny Games

Guys I love this movie. It’s the perfect mix between funny and scary. It’s funny in a fucked up way so be warned but so scary because it genuinely could happen. It’s slow burning which I love. And they break the fourth wall a few times which is fun and in my opinion is effective and oh so fun. There is one scene which is 10 minutes long and let me tell ya it is so well done but so heart breaking to watch. This movie I think goes to the line but doesn’t cross it which I enjoyed. Apparently this film is supposed to be about how media violence influences society but it only touched on it a little bit and I’m not sure the director hit the mark with it. I guess most of the audience doesn’t understand either so I’m in the majority. But besides that it was fun and I was so engaged. Definitely will watch it again, I don’t know why it look me so long to watch it in the first place. I recommend. EDIT: I guess I get the media thing now. At one point the main dude rewinds the film and it’s supposed to be about how they can’t separate real life and fiction and they do touch on it a little at the end. But the first half or 3/4 (I didn’t look at the timing of the movie too much) didn’t really touch on it which is a little off base in my opinion.
