Watched this in 35mm at a re-release for the first time.
10’s across the board, this is an INSANE directorial debut.
The camerawork, the colour grading, the story. It was so good and well paced. It keeps you on your toes and the chemistry is intense.

I could write 100 pages on a character study of Violet.
Anyway, this is what a lot of queer films think they are and they’re nowhere close, easily top 5 LGBT+ films.
