Oldboy

Wow, where do I begin, this film is a psychological rollercoaster, with insane plot twists that kept me on edge the entire time. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I expected though, I usually go in with an open mind, but with a 4.7 average on Letterboxd it’s hard to stay open minded. Maybe with lower expectations it would’ve landed differently, but I wouldn’t say I disliked it either, I’ll definitely say mixed emotions on this one. And to justify my thoughts on this I will go out and say in my opinion, the plot twist made the movie, if there weren’t such a plot twist then is it really as great as people make it out to be?  Answer that and hopefully you can justify my opinion on this.
