Arrival
After rewatching this movie I now realize what a masterpiece this is. I will try my best to write this without spoiling anything. A film filled with so many scenes of stunning visuals with an amazing score. Amy Adams puts on an amazing performance as Louise along with great supporting roles. My favorite use of aliens I’ve ever seen in any movie I’ve ever watched, even just the look of them was so mesmerizing and beautiful. Both terrifying but also inviting. One of the best 3rd acts I’ve ever seen with an incredible plot twist that finally comes together and leaves tears in my eyes by the end. The use of the concept of time in this movie is just special and I can’t even put it into words. “I forgot how good it felt to be held by you” That quote will live with me forever. Denis Villeneuve master class, his best movie ever and maybe my favorite if Dune 2 didn’t exist. He is the king of sci-fi. I can’t wait to watch this again
