Turned this on expecting a fun casual watch and oh my god it was actually so sad and I didn’t expect to relate to Matthew Lillard’s character so much. A post graduate who despite his appearance did exceptionally well in college but has a general disdain for society and does not want to end up like his successful dad but also knows there is no future with his lifestyle. It was interesting to see Summer Phoenix I didn’t know she acted. This film cements Matthew Lillard as being a highly talented actor. Throughout the film his fiery personality was so fun to watch and towards the end his acting almost had me in tears. Matthew Lillard supremacy fr. Also I heard someone say he didn’t sell out at the end he bought in omg.
