Before Sunset
Don't have it in me for a big review but one thing I can say is that it was a really comfortable experience. A couple years ago I watched before sunrise, and I told myself I'd never watch sunset until I'd fallen in love and was old enough to understand how I felt. I wanted to put the film off so I could hold onto that magic of the first (which it rightfully held), and watching sunrise and sunset today, it felt really comforting knowing that you can really do whatever you like, talk to who you want, go where you want to go, leave when you want to leave. It was nice seeing Jesse and Celine come back together and them not being a distraught mess the second they saw each other. They both have lives, they did shit, and yeah it's a great romance tale about what could've been, but watching them felt like watching a little part of me that I thought to be so foreign, and I felt a little area of peace in that.
