Not changing my rating it’s still kind of mostly abysmal dog shit. I only like the parts with Shuya ☹️ my #bias

I was rlly worried this wouldn’t hit me as much as it’s hit everyone else but Rita is like. One of my top me characters of all time I fear. Also this one kind of stung? Ow?  I’m so glad I know this is getting a conclusion. I can’t imagine having watched this years ago never knowing it was gonna get an end. I’m excited to see what they do, this is a disgusting reality check.

There’s definitely a charm to this for me. Maybe it’s cause I’m British and it’s so in line with it, but I thought it was fine.  I mean it’s nothing ground breaking, the effects are lackluster, the acting is fairly bad, the sound design in parts is awful to listen to, and in general it’s a bit too long and messy- but I had fun, and I’m always going to give credit for making a whole feature (mostly) on your own.  I think Karl has creative prowess, and if given a proper budget and team could make something special. That being said it certainly won’t be for everyone, but you know who it was for? Me.  Solid 3. Maybe a low end 3 if anything.

I enjoyed some of it but most of it was just men violating women: the movie and while they get their comeuppance it’s just not really….all that inspired.  I’d heard good things about this and I was kind of expecting more but it’s just…eh. It’s eh. The ideas had potential just never fully realised. I dunno.
