Sharp Objects

omgggg ive been so excited to watch this ever since reading the book, and I have so many thoughts. Overall, AMAZING adaptation. This adapted really well to screen, and the casting was phenomenal. Amy Adams is exactly how i pictured Camille, and Eliza Scanlen was perfect for Amma. The suspense from the book translated so so well, and even though I knew what was going to happen it was still thrilling. One thing that I didn't like as much was the pacing. Gillian Flynn's books are really detailed, so the adaptations (this and Gone Girl) have a longer runtime. At certain points, this felt just a BIT too slow compared to the book, which was perfectly paced in my opinion. Other than that, i love love love this and i give it a 9/10 overall, which is rare because I usually hate book to movie or book to show adaptations
