Rear Window
God forbid a man has a hobby.
That's it? That's the ending? Horrible, disappointing, unenjoyable. If everything other than the last five minutes weren't some of the finest cinema I've ever seen, I would've rated this much harsher because jfc that bulb blinding sequence was like something out of a cartoon and the confession was so anti-climatic that it killed all the suspense. Where is the big pay-off, the surprise, the reward? Lovely movie if you stop it as soon as the villain enters the apartment and you just imagine that he kills the main guy and then escapes or something like that. Or that he never actually kills his wife and the one that gets captured by the police is the main guy for being a peeper. Even if the goal was to have the murderer captured, it could've been done much better. I mean come on we hear the confession from some random officer in the most chill tone possible!
