The Aviator

One of my favorite films by Martin Scorsese, and definitely one of Leonardo DiCaprio’s best performances. He really captured the complexity of Howard Hughes both his charisma and his inner struggles. Cate Blanchett made a big impression on me too. She’s one of my favorite actresses, and here she plays my all-time favorite actress, Katharine Hepburn. The film isn’t just well acted, it’s also visually stunning. The cinematography and set design perfectly capture the feel of the era.
