Sinners

If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Sinners is a masterpiece—maybe the best film I’ve seen this year, maybe longer. The music, the history, the metaphor, the visuals—every frame hums with soul. I’ve always loved Blues, but this film felt like a spiritual experience. It celebrates Black culture with raw honesty and aching beauty. As a white woman, I watched with reverence. Michael B. Jordan’s performance is life-altering. I didn’t expect it to shake me like this. But it did. And I’ll be carrying it with me for a long time.
