Flow

An authentic animated adventure film focused on animals overcoming obstacles and developing deep connections between each other without the use of a single word, while the film avoids a usually typical humanization of the lead animals. A breathtaking animation style makes it almost feel like a documentary and keeps the focus on the theme of naturalism, also addressing current relevant topics like climate change and refugees. Deservedly winning multiple global awards including the Academy Award for best animated film, it keeps the spirit of the pinnacle of this genre, Walt Disney's Bambi, and even surpasses it from my point of view.
