i was so confused by the timeline that i only fully got it in the third act (i'm that fucking dumb 😭). this is only my second ducournau film after titane, so i went in expecting something just as loud and sensational. but alpha isn't about that and once everything clicked, it hit me way harder than i expected. i definitely need to rewatch this in a better headspace and with better subtitle translations lol

lost me a bit around the third act but still enjoyed it

felt like the premise was trying to be unique but the execution felt short. maggie what did u snort edit: or idk i might like this again in the future when i rewatch it.
