psych major but instead of watching psychological movies i watch utter whimsy (please don't question why it's all family movies God forbid a woman heals her inner child)

OHH MY FUCKING GODDD very good laugh and cry ratio, the friendship between grace and rocky was so lighthearted and wholesome that although it didn't make me forget about grace's supposed impending death it genuinely gave me hope for their survival. the pacing was slower which might not be it for some people but i honestly think it was good to really make us process the moment. visuals are so pretty this is exactly why i love outer space movies, the sheer wonder of outer space like AAAAHHH oh my God. this made me realize yet again why i love astronomy so much. the feeling of discovering something unknown and finally getting an answer to your never ending questions and satisfying your thirst of knowledge (and also potentially saving the world), literally sobbing i would die for that feeling (unlike grace AHAHAHAH). also i need a separate paragraph to talk about the ending because TELL ME WHY I PREDICTED IT ABOUT HALFWAY THROUGH THE MOVIE????? i was like "can ryan gosling just not come back to earth and live on rocky's planet instead?" partly as a joke because though i really wanted it to happen i kinda thought it was way too idealistic. BUT NOOOO i was somehow right despite never reading the book. fucking perfect ending i say. 10/10. yeah um so THIS MOVIE IS SO HOPECORE YEAHHH LET'S GOO we love our dose of happiness 😛‼️ amaze, amaze, amaze 👎🩷
