possibly the greatest movie of all time. when link tries to tongue the framed picture of tracy? iconic. john travolta eating it up in heels? groundbreaking. is it flawless? no. does it have some questionable portrayals of race inequality in the 60s and beyond? yes. does tracy hit a cop on the head and then leave the rest of the (Black) protesters to fend for themselves? absolutely. I don’t know how to end this review now because all of that is reprehensible. however, it is my problematic fave.
