Matilda

This may be my favorite movie ever, of all time. This film is witty, chaotic, quirky, and even tugs at the heartstrings if you are mentally unstable. It is a beacon of hope that “as bad as things were before, that’s how good they became.” Matilda is a baddie who is empowered, well-educated, and not afraid to stand up for what is right. This movie was my favorite in childhood and remains my favorite today. I personally think it comes down to this; people who were neglected by their parents as children get it, and those that weren’t, don’t. Danny Devito, even though you play a meanie in this movie, give me a call bud. Viva la Matilda !
