How can we make better than this? Everything about this movie is a masterpiece, the use of colour, the cinematography, the narration.. Akira Kurosawa is one of the greatest directors if not the greatest. When I learned that he made the movie while being almost blind just made me realise that we might not see a director like that again. Now the cinema relies on having a dynamic editing and try to constantly catch the attention instead of telling a story with images or expression. From the beginning of the movie the three samurai colour was represented very well and you could already tell the character of each, the red one which represents blood and the enemy, the blue which represents the only allies the lord had at that moment, and the yellow represents medium between the red and blue that was the only colour that you can’t expect the side it’s going to take. I just wish I could see this movie in cinema
