Babel

Hands down one of the BEST parallel narrative movies I’ve seen in a minute holy shit. I would watch all 4 stories separately which made watching them all blend together even better. This story had me hooked from beginning to end everything about it was perfectly executed. Story, cinematography, MUSIC, cast and their performances were all breathtaking. I didn’t really like Cate Blanchett’s character tbh I think Naomi Watts would’ve been a better choice esp. considering she’s in a good bit of Iñárritu’s work.  Also I actually really enjoyed Brad Pitt much much better as a smaller and more serious character. Iñárritu is now probably one of my fav directors. I love his work more and more as I make my way through his movies. He’s so good at directing heartbreaking stories I’m always on the verge of tears after each movie
