A really funny and heartfelt romcom which ticks all the boxes. Good comedy, great writing and a stacked cast which all have a good dynamic. Great performances all round but Steve Carell is the standout. Gosling and Carell’s comedic timings were perfect. The backyard scene was pure gold. Good watch. 8/10

A super dark psychological thriller which keeps you guessing and doubting right until the last moment. Doesn’t really have time to waste since it’s only 80 minutes long but it manages to make every use of the runtime. You can see how this inspired the likes of Black Swan. Uncomfortable watch at times and the stalker guy was creepy. Plot twist at the end got me good.  7.5/10
