You and Everything Else

The portrayal of ugly loving raw female friendships, in cinema there's always this hyper pink portrayal of women but this is probably the most reaslistic form of friendship I've seen. It's so much more than a love triangle, dare I say the guy doesn't play a big part, it's not those type of love triangles that makes you wish the guy never existed or " they should just forget about him and just kiss " this was so much more deeper and complex, like all relationships but especially with your childhood the one that got away type of friendhsip, the biggest takeaway from this series is probably how no matter how much regret, hate, guilt, anxiety, you have, your friend will hold your hand. Because they both loved and hated eachother so much that they became that grey area, that line betweem strong love and strong hate. truly masterpiece. The soundtrack was beautiful, Kim Go Eun acting was phenomenal this is like the third Park Ji hyun's drama I've seen and honestly that woman can pull of any role. I don't expect anything else from Song Hye Jin's writer after the beautiful drama" The smile has left your eyes ", shes someone I'll always trust. Overall I havent seen such a good coming of age series since my liberation notes, this is truly the best korean drama that came out this year of this genre.
