Up All Night

Before I get into my review, I have a few updates to make. I finished my Friday the 13th marathon last night and I am currently catching up on some A Nightmare on Elm Street fan made films that I missed when I watched that franchise a few weeks ago. I’m also gonna watch a few horror documentaries today. Tomorrow I am going to watch 28 Weeks Later and then I’ll begin watching The Thing Trilogy, after that the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise, and finally, HALLOWEEN!!!! Anyway, onto the review. This was a surprisingly decent fan made film that was pretty short, but was exceptionally well done. The acting is actually pretty good and the nightmare sequence is amazing. I loved the cinematography and the special effects were great. The only aspects I didn’t quite enjoy was the fact that the beginning was a little slow and how little screen time Freddy got. Also, why did Jason come out of nowhere at the end???? All in all, this was an enjoyable fan made horror flick, but was definitely not perfect by any means. Also, today is a very special day since a year ago, I first joined Letterboxd!!!! I honestly cannot believe it.
