Solid and enjoyable if you're just here to see the Punisher kill a buncha dudes which you are. By no means is this anything interesting. There's only so many ways Frank can grieve for his dead family and it's been repetitive for a while now. Also, has he always been this crazy?

Going from the Throne Room, which is some of the best Star Wars ever, to the Teddy Bear War, which is made for 10 year olds, is the craziest tonal whiplash [Star Wars Ranked](https://boxd.it/GQesQ)

I really like this movie but still think the other two are better (big *Glass Onion* defender here). Turning Blanc's big reveal speech moment on its head was a great choice but the actual answers are a bit too convoluted in my opinion. And I've said this before but the supporting cast is easily the weakest. But this is the best looking film of the trilogy.

I for one consider it an honor and a privilege to see Anne Hathaway on a 65-foot screen. Wow. 🕶️🤏 To compare her longevity to LeBron is quite frankly offensive..she would never get swept by OKC. Also Stanley Tucci always looks like he knows something I don't. It frightens me a little but it's probably also why he's so great in these. Now about the actual movie I may need some time to let it marinate but I think I liked it more than the original? Storywise they're pretty close for me, but the difference maker is that I found this one much more pleasant to watch. In the first movie there are a few aspects that really frustrated me, particularly the way her friends and boyfriend treated her. They do some tropes that I don't love at all. The sequel seemed to mostly steer away from that stuff and focus on the four characters we're there for. Even as I'm writing this, I can say the first film definitely has tighter character writing the more that I'm thinking about it. Miranda's presence is felt even when she's not around. In the sequel she's in a large majority of scenes but still feels like she took a backseat. One thing I do appreciate is that the ends of both movies show the similarities between Andy and Miranda, only this time, it's framed as a positive. Overall, *The Devil Wears Prada 2* is cozier and makes me smile more. Plus it carries with it a meaningful anti-AI message that makes it stand out. It does what good sequels do.
